Innovative Technology For Canada's Future

Starfield, in partnership with NeoFerric Technologies Inc., has developed an innovative, environmentally friendly, highly efficient hydro-metallurgical extractive process for processing nickel-cobalt-copper sulphide ores.

Process highlights:

  • copper and nickel recoveries above 95%
  • produces either high purity metal, or
    marketable metal compounds
  • recycles key reagents
  • produces excess electrical power
  • competitive production costs

Who We Are

Starfield Resources Inc. (Starfield) is an advanced exploration and emerging early-stage development company focused on its
100% owned Ferguson Lake property in Nunavut, Canada. Spanning 1.3 million acres, the Ferguson Lake project is the largest
base metal (nickel-copper-cobalt) and PGE (platinum-palladium-rhodium) project in Nunavut. By moving the massive sulphide
nickel-copper-cobalt discovery towards development, and uncovering value in the potentially large high-grade platinum-
palladium-rhodium discovery through continued exploration, Starfield is well positioned to take advantage of strong metal
markets.

Social & Environmental Commitments

Starfield is committed to protecting the lifestyle, heritage and environment in our areas of operations. We work closely with regulatory and government agencies in designing environmental monitoring programs that minimize operational impact.

Equally important to protecting the environment is preserving the knowledge and heritage of the land. In the summer of 2007, Starfield initiated an Inuit Traditional Knowledge study. This study will provide a record of sensitive spiritual and cultural sites traditionally used in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut.
